Pictures
I haven't been writing much lately because I've been working with pictures of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. I have been taking pictures off-and-on since we first visited the island in 1993, twelve years ago. Some of the pictures were pt on CDs by photolabs and I have been using a digital camera for the last few years, but there are some available as color prints that I'm scanning in. I'm putting them on the "Flickr" website and I have a bit over 1200 of them at this writing. Flickr has facilities for adding titles and descriptions (whose words can be searched on) and "tags" that are used as a basis for sorting.
What I intend to do is to edit the "Introduction to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines" so that it uses a minimum of pictures, with copious references to the search citeria on Flickr. This will make it easier to publish and update the book on the web, and also make it possible to publish the book in black and white with a supplemental CD of color pictures or jst references to flickr.
The present version of the Introduction to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is at http://svg.karleklund.net and that same redirect address will be used for revised versions, They will simply be located in a different place.
In the meantime the pictures can be found at http://pix.karleklund.net . If you want to look at the pictures relating to a specific key word or "Tag" you can go to http://pictags.karleklund.net .
